Solar Flares and Sensitives/Empaths

For those of you that may not be familiar with the power of solar flares the energy, and how it effects Sensitives  and Empaths  is an actual very real thing. The sun is ALL energy and it's power when there are explosions from the sun's surface from its sun spots are classified by NASA into 3 categories B, C, M, and X. Much like a tornado can range from an F1 to an F5.
With Solar Flares, X class is the strongest and most powerful. Within each class are numbers before it reaches the next level.Within a class there is a linear scale from 1 to 9.n. X class flares up to at least X28 have been recorded.
The flares FACING towards earth are the ones that Scientist really pay attention to, as they are the ones that cause us the most risk in that- all of that energy directed at Earth means problems with satellites, technology and power grids. But on a personal level, just like the moon, it greatly impacts us as humans. ESPECIALLY if you are very sensitive and an empath. I am one and I am very, very sensitive to solar flares and quite often start to feel the effects (as does my son) before one even happens. Both of my children have gotten to the point when we feel like this to check, is there a solar flare happening?
Solar Flares can affect pets as well as humans, my cat becomes incredibly needy and is constantly trying to jump on me to nestle super close on my lap, or hang on to my neck.
As Sensitives, our bodies can take such a hit during this time. How we respond to this, is very individual; some people experience nothing while others are either so exhausted they can barely move or are so hyper and wired that they could run laps around the neighborhood all day.
In addition, intense energy can cause exhaustion, aches, nausea, dizziness, becoming highly emotional.
#RebeccaFox #IntuitiveNinja

Solar activity is known to influence human consciousness. Solar flares affect the Central Nervous System (stomach lining), all brain activity (including balance), along with human behavior and all psycho-physiological (mental-emotional-physical) response.
Solar flares can cause us to be nervous, anxiousness, worrisome, jittery, dizzy, shaky, irritable, lethargic, exhausted, have short-term memory problems and heart palpitations, feel nauseous, queasy, and to have prolonged head pressure and headaches.
Maybe you noticed these symptoms in yourself, especially if you are an empath.
Just as the Moon affects the tides on Earth and human behavior so does the Sun. Ask any Rest Home if the elderly with any type of mental degeneration have issues with hyperactivity. Ask the nurses of our world about the higher rate of accidents in this time, packing out their ER's. Ask Police Officers if there is more criminal behavior on and around full Moons and the answer is always yes. This is where the term luna (lunar) tics comes from.
In addition, this increase in solar activity also correlates to periods of more accidents and illness, as well as an increase of crimes and murders. The entire biosphere is affected by this electromagnetic pollution, and human behavior seems to react accordingly.
The solar flares and photon waves are changing the fabric of our physical reality as they have a powerful effect on our physical cellular level, causing our cellular memories to awaken and clear.
Our lower emotions are low-frequency energy stored in our cells from past experiences and traumas that we have encountered and never processed – so they become stored as cellular memories.
Photon energy is a much higher frequency energy that pulls up the lower emotional frequency so it can calibrate to the higher frequency… thus, we find ourselves releasing these lower emotions of sadness and grief without knowing why.
Photonic energy connects to our thoughts so it is important that we know what we want, rather than we don’t want, otherwise, we will manifest more of what we don’t want.
The solar flares can break apart old patterns that are no longer needed so new ones can emerge. This can make us feel hyper and exhausted all at the same time. It can also wreak havoc with technology such as computers.

I hope this helps you understand a little more about Solar Flares and how much they can affect us as sensitives. We are all energy. And we are also all trying to raise our consciousness and do a lot of inner work and healing within.  Correcting/letting go of old  patterns that some of us have had for our whole life time as well as becoming aware of triggers and past belief systems as a result of difficult, toxic and/or abusive childhood or adult relationships. We are uncovering lots of difficult, challenging layers.

The best thing we can all do is: slow down our thoughts, getting some form of exercise in, in our day,  get out into nature and ground yourselves, and last but certainly not least.....
DRINK WATER!!!!!!!!!! It's more than essential that you stay hydrated during Solar Flares.

Love and Warm Blessings to all

8 Ways To Remove Negative Energy

We can all often find ourselves in such a busy fast paced life finding time to go outside just when we are travelling to and from work, school, groceries, meetings etc and can all too quickly forget how much immersing ourselves in nature can be cleansing and healing to the soul.  That feeling of getting away from it all, distressing and allowing yourself to stop and smell the roses now and again.  But eventually we have to come home and when we do we bring the same stresses we had at work or running a household back into the very place that other than nature we should be able to destress and relax. When we compare the sense of peace and connectedness we feel in nature much like becoming a goat wrangler at Rent-A-Ruminant to the stress, noise, speed and bustle of the city, we know deep down that there is a difference. Part of the difference is the energy that has merged into the physical objects of these places. Nature and immersing ourselves within it in general, has far more positive energy than our homes or cities could ever have.

Before we can start re-filling our homes, our work spaces or our cars  with positive energy, we need to remove any accumulation or build-up of negative energy. Here is a list of eight simple ideas that are proven techniques that really do work that you can use to remove negative energy from any space:

8 Ways to Remove Negative Energy

  1. Salt your carpets and floors. This is the simple easiest best way. Simply sprinkle dry table salt on the floors surface, wait an hour and then vacuum the up the salt.It doesn't have to be an abundance of salt, just whatever you feel.  In an average sized room, I would possible sprinkle 1 handful of pink Himalayan salt from the bag not forgetting the corners. Himalayan,  Epsom or any natural  salt  has an amazing natural built in-ability to remove any negative energy that has built up over time. Using natural salt is like using an air purifier transmuting the bad/negative into the good/positive
  2. Loud Music, Musical Instruments or Loud Noises.
Any type of loud noise be it from rocking out to fantastic music, jamming on your piano, drums, recorder all break up the negative energy patterns of a room and allow them to transmute as you lift the vibration of the room washing away the ick and leaving nothing but fantastic uplifting energy behind.  This is why the Chinese love and use fireworks so much, take the Chinese New Year, removing the old to make way for the new energy or how Gaia (mother nature) uses thunder storms and rain that is pelting down hard to cleanse areas of the earth.
  3. Meditating in an area or room/car/space etc.
If you are meditating in the space you are allowing or giving yourself the space to relax and go within, using yourself as a positive vibration can be very cleansing for a space, especially if you are using the same space daily.
  4. Remove the clutter people.
A cluttered house leads to a cluttered mind - isn't that the old saying? Leaving things around to trip over on, books, washing, paperwork, toys can tend to trap negative energy within it and your house/car/business.  Time to pick it up, spring clean, autumn clean, winter clean and summer clean if you have too, to make sure your space is free of obstacles and freeing your home etc allowing the flow of positive, uplifting energy to take over once again.  Remove anything you no longer need, give it to charity, clean those garages, keep your coffee tables and night stands clear of obstruction. If the 'stuff' is not there then it leaves nothing of the negative energy to cling too.
  5. Have fun and create change.
Change the furniture around to allow the house to breathe and clean up the flow of energy that way.  Again using the Chinese as a good example and their fantastic practice of using feng shui to get the energy flowing for your highest good again.
Again negative energy needs something to “bind to.” Change up  your spaces with as much wide open space as possible, allowing any negative energy to disperse and disappear. But also the act of rearranging will cause this harmful energy to dissipate.
  6. Sage Cleansing (smudging).
Smudging is a fantastic and easy (although a little smelly) way to remove negative energies.  Even if you have a super happy household, negative energies can enter our homes in many different ways.  Such as when you first move into the house and the energy of tenants previous is left inside. It may come in on friends and family that have entered your space, from restaurants, your children's friends, antiques, library books, grocery items brought home from the store (just think about how many times you handle that food before it makes it into your pantry, now think about how many hands have touched it from production, through to packaging, transport, the people who have used the shopping cart before you, the cashier and the list goes on. It's important to cleanse your spaces often just for some of the reasons above, although not life-threatening over time you may start to see a change in your family/work dynamics.  I have seen it first hand what a good smudging can do for the benefit of my children's moods, the difference especially on the first one, was dramatic, no more nightmares, peaceful sleeping routines and in general a happy household.

  7. This is my favorite if you have children.
Grab out all your pots and pans with a couple of wooden spoons or whatever safe utensil you happen to have and let your kids go to town creating a song for each room of the house.  Show me where the children are that don't love to get involved? And what kids don't like to make noise?
  8. Add some plants.
It amazes me the amount of times i walk into the home to find no plants anymore.  Our houses used to be filled with them and yet you are lucky to see 1 these days.
Plants not only add color to a space, they also bring oxygen, life, nurturing aspects of ourselves and positive energy to any space they are put into.

These are just a few ways and i'm sure there are many more using crystals, Reiki ,Essential oils to name a few extra.  Share your ideas in the comments below, it very well maybe the perfect solution for a like minded soul such as yourself.

Clearing Negative Energy with The Ancient Art of Smudging

If you’re feeling stuck in life, feeling a tad negative, sluggish and lagging behind the eight ball, or even downright depressed, it may be due to some stagnant/negative energy that has attached to you or surrounds your field.  Your field can include your emotional, energetic, mental, spiritual or physical body, and your environment—whether it’s your home, office, car,  or other physical space. Stagnant or negative energy can have detrimental effects on not only your mental and physical state but that of your family and co-workers as well and is even believed to manifest into things like a lack of happiness and success in your life and business as well as physical/emotional pain and disease.
Smudging  or clearing with sage can help clear or remove this negativity, and help you start a brand new day much lighter and brighter. Smudging is an ancient ceremony in which you burn sacred plants that are often bound together with cotton or something similar. The most commonly used is sage, to allow the smoke to clear and bless a space or yourself.

Smudging can sound a bit intimidating to many people. It can also look j pretty unsafe or super complicated to be practiced often. Rest assured this is not true. Smudging is not complicated, not hard and totally safe when you follow several very simple and easy steps that even my children can do safely. What is important to keep in mind though, is that smudging is an ancient and sacred ceremony, so when you do give it a try, it is best to do it with full awareness and in a slow, mindful manner full of strong  belief that what you are about to do is true, correct and for your highest good always with strong intent.

As even the happiest, bubbliest of  homes accumulate in time negative energy, it is good to smudge your home thoroughly at least several times a year or whenever you get that gut hit that it's the right time. You can also smudge your car, any technology you use such as cell phones, computers and your office space (not during busy office hours!); as well as use smudging to clear your own energy or the energy of other people that cross your path frequently.

I will give you my simple instructions on how to do smudging, and then let you in on  the most common concerns with smudging a house/office. You will also find here instructions on how to smudge yourself (or somebody else),

The most common smudging herbs.

SAGE - For driving out negativity and for healing, white sage is preferred.
The botanical name for sage is Salvia (e.g. Salvia officinalis, Garden Sage, or Salvia apiana, White Sage).  It is interesting to note that Salvia comes from the Latin root salvare, which means "to heal" .

CEDAR - Drives out negative icky energy and brings in positive balanced influences.
Cedar is burned while praying or holding intent either aloud or silently. The prayers rise on the cedar smoke and are carried to your higher power (whoever that is for you personally).  Cedar branches are brushed in the air to cleanse a home during the House Blessing Ceremony of many Northwest Indian nations.  In the Pacific Northwest, the people burn cedar for purification in much the same way as sage - it drives out negative energy, but it also brings in good influences. The spirit of cedar is considered very ancient and wise by Pacific Northwest tribes, and old, downed cedar trees are honored with offerings and prayers.

Cedar is primarily considered a fire element, though it is often used for general, four-element purposes.  It is known for its sharp, piney scent and is believed to aid clairvoyance, revive the tired mind, body, and spirit, and stimulate contact with other worlds. This one is one of my personal favorites for smudging my body as the smell is really nice.

SWEETGRASS - Sweetgrass is used for blessing after sage has been used.  It brings in the good spirits and the good influences.

Sweetgrass is an important part of Sioux and Cherokee ceremonies. One of the most sacred plants for the Plains Indians, sweetgrass is a tall wild grass with a reddish base and perfume-like, musty odor. It grows mainly on the eastern side of the Rockies in Montana and adjacent Alberta, Canada. It also shows up in some small areas of Wyoming and South Dakota. Its botanical name is Hierochloe odorata. Some common names for it are Seneca grass, holy grass and vanilla grass. A nice smelling alternative to sage, however if you really want a good deep clearing definitely use sage first and then sweetgrass or use sweetgrass on you personally.

On the Plains, sweetgrass is usually braided together in bunches as a person's hair is braided, which is often how it looks when you are buying it from a store, although sometimes it is simply bunched and wrapped in cloth..  Either way, it is usually burned by shaving little bits over hot coals or lighting the end and waving it around, letting the smoke spread through the air.  Elders teach that it is good to burn sweetgrass after the sage or cedar has driven out the bad influences.

As with cedar, burn sweetgrass while praying or holding intent sends prayers up to your higher power (whatever that is for you personally) in the smoke.  Sweetgrass is can also be put in pipe bundles and medicine bundles along with sage to purify and protect sacred objects.

MUGWORT - Mugwort is a variety of Sage (Artemisia vulgaris).
Mugwort is used to promote physical wellbeing, endurance and protection. This ancient herb can also encourage prophetic and happy dreams and act as an aid to astral travel.

Also, when you want to cleanse the atmosphere of your space and need something super-heavy-duty, beyond normal white sage smudging, Mugwort is indeed the herb to use.

Mugwort is perfect for anyone wishing to develop their conscious or lucid dreaming experience.

What You Need
  • Sage or other sacred plants listed above. Sage represents the earth element and when burned, the smoke from it represents the air.
  • Abalone shell. This is meant to hold and burn the plants. The shell represents the water element. And it's pretty not to mention practical.
  • Matches or a lighter. These represent the fire element.
  • Feather. This represents the air element. Although I tend to use my sage sticks in a circular, clockwise motion.
  • Drum(s) or sacred drumming music, which represent the beat of the heart.

All though you could have all of these if you wanted to make it easier again all you need is a smudge stick, lighter and fireproof container.

Clear your space of clutter and mess (a great time to salt your carpets and floors at the same time) and open up windows and curtains and allow for clean air to enter. Light your sage (or other herbs) on fire and then fan the smoke with your feather or slow clockwise circular motions around your body and anyone else in your space.  Don't forget your pets, but respect their space, a little distance is fine when held with strong intent to clear their energy.

SMUDGING IN FIVE EASY STEPS
  1. Place the candle/lighter/matches, the fireproof container, and the smudge stick on a table, desk or any other appropriate surface (I tend to use my fireplace because it's already fire-proofed in a way. It is best if you create a sense of ceremony when you smudge your house, as well as find time when you will not be disturbed; 10-15 min should be enough unless you have a really large house (don't forget the garage and car if you have time).
  2. Light the candle if you are using one and say a prayer or just focus your energy and set the intent of what you want to happen. Light the tip of your smudge stick with a candle light/lighter, then gently wave the stick in the air till the tip begins to smolder.
  3. Hold the smudge stick over the fireproof container at all times in order to avoid any lit herbs falling on the floor. You can use a feather if you have one, but usually just gently waving your hands to disperse the smoke is enough or rotating in a circular motion. Remind yourself to stay connected to your breathing throughout your smudging session staying present and calm (this is the energy you are manifesting into your house while removing the yucky, stuck energy.
  4. Stay connected to your breathing, keeping yourself calm  as you smudge all areas in a clockwise motion around your house (usually starting at the front door), and gently wave the smoke into the air. Spend a bit more time smudging the room corners, as they tend to accumulate stagnant energy. Be sure to also open the closet doors and carefully smudge inside. Do not forget about spaces such as the attic, laundry room, the garage or the basement and cars.
  5. When you have smudged all areas of your house, come back to where you began and gently extinguish your smudge stick (dipping it into sand while applying a bit of pressure usually works well, it's best not to use water if at all possible). Wait a bit, then pack your smudge stick, as well as the container, till your next smudging session. You can leave the candle going, if you have used one, to continue to purify the energy.

Clearing Your Body
Smudging is not only for spaces; it’s also for clearing your body, mind, and spirit of any negativity, stagnation, or energetic disturbances within or surrounding you. Make sure to invite the sacred smoke around your body from head to toe and front to back before smudging your space.

A Smudging Prayer for use on yourself -

May your hands be cleansed, that they create beautiful things.

May your feet be cleansed, that they might take you where you most need to be.

May your heart be cleansed, that you might hear its messages clearly.

May your throat be cleansed, that you might speak rightly when words are needed.

May your eyes be cleansed, that you might see the signs and wonders of the world.

May this person and space be washed clean by the smoke of these fragrant plants.

And may that same smoke carry our prayers, spiraling, to the heavens.

Q: Do I really need to smudge my house to make myself and my family feel better?
A:
Yes, it is always a good idea to smudge your house, as stagnant energy accumulates even before you were living in the house (past tenants owners don't always clear their energy before handing over the keys to the new owners. If smudging does not appeal to you at all, explore alternative ways to clear the energy it's worth it!

Q: How often do I need to smudge?
A:
At least a few times a year (I tend to recommend to my clients to do it with each new season if they don't want to do it often OR when you change your tooth brush. Some people smudge every week while others might smudge less. Remember you can choose alternative ways to clear the energy, such as basic space clearing, using incense, etc.

Q: Can I make my  very own smudge stick?
A: Absolutely you can! The herbs most commonly used in a smudge stick are sage, cedar, sweetgrass, and I often pop lavender in with mine because i love the smell. I often make my own little bundles with sage and lavender, and it works beautifully. You might choose to use a colorful string to hold the herbs together, I always use the color of the Chakra that i'd most love to bring balance to, but what you use is not really important as it will eventually burn anyway.

Q: Where can I buy smudge sticks?
A: You can buy sage smudge sticks in most new age bookstores, healing centers or crystal shops. You can also buy them online from many different sources.
