Your True colors are such an important part of you, they are the things that help you find courage and confidence when you really need it. It is the smile that beams from your face among the tears that have fallen. The light in your eyes that sparkles through the struggles and hardship as you watch your children play, an animal showing love or being silly, the presence of a family member or friend that turns up just when you need them, someone to help scoop you up, nurture you or offer support and encouragement.
We all tend to find out along the journey that is life what triggers us into black holes, what holds us down when we are struggling already. But do you know what makes you shine, what has you breathing in deep and breathing out all your stress, worry, and struggle? Do you know what those triggers are?
So often we get help with our triggers, tools and advice for coping with the negative. What about thinking about giving yourself a toolkit filled with positives as well (nothing like balance right?).
How about thinking about those things, those are the things that give your heart a reason to smile, nudge you out of the dark and into the light where you belong, a place where you are happy, where you allow yourself a mistake or two or ten and you pick yourself up and you keep moving...why?
Because you know in your heart what makes you happy, what brings you joy, what helps you when you've fallen off the tracks a little bit. Focus on those things, focus on the good in you, the true colors that shine through with each smile, each sigh of relief, each moment that brings you joy.
So today I urge you to think about your true colors, what makes you shine from the inside out?
Then take those things and add them to your toolbox of life. That way whenever you need a helping hand, you can reach inside of yourself and pull out those true colors whenever you need them to sparkle up your day.
Comment below what your true colors are for you, you never know it may just help someone else find theirs.
Love and Warm Blessings
